LEAKING TOILET

Most common plumbing problems we come across is a leaking toilet pan.

My preferred way of fixing a leaking pan connector is to install a new flexi pan connector instead of applying a panseal over a worn out rubber seal which is causing the leak in the first place. pan seals from my experience do not last long and most customers say the flexi pan connector is much neater. some of these new toilet installation with a normal pan connector like the one on the first pic are often forced in making it harder for the maintenance guy to work with when applying the pan seal. at the end of the day it is what the customer wants, just be transparent and disclose the pros and cons of both methods of repairing.
